New Week, New Nails

This weekend I finally got to hang out with my favorite guy in Denver, Paul. He is my dear friend and also the best personal stylist I could ever have!! I always go to his salon, Namaste, at 10th and Corona to get my hair done, but Paul is also an amazing makeup artist. He definitely knows how to make girls and guys feel pretty and good about themselves. He's taught me so many things about hair, products, makeup, nail art, etc and I'm so happy he's willing to share his tips and tricks with you too! 

Here are my new amazing nails Paul created... check out his step by step directions to getting these gorgeous nails!

 The two colors we used:

O.P.I "Did you 'ear about Van Gough?"
(I love this color and the name!)

O.P.I "Black Onyx"

First two coats of the light color.

  Paul cut 10 pieces of tape then created triangle on each nail.

Paul then painted over the tips with a black polish, ripped of the tape, and tadaaaaa! Ohhh I love my new nails! Don't forget the CND sticky base coat first and finally the CND air dry top coat.

Also, it's always better to paint your nails one color first, wear it for couple days, and then do the tape trick and paint over them with a different color... trying this new nail art feels like getting new hands :)
